Life and death
The main "deities" of Senluna, these two are never really seen by anyone but those who have had a near death experience have said they saw these two watching them. No one knows their real names or even if they exist so they have been dubbed "Life" and "Death"
Death appears as a standard heaveywight with shaggy, long fur that covers their eyes rumor has it that if you were to ever look into their eyes you would see how you will die. They are always dark in color. It's said they constantly look upset or grieving with a personality that is slow and methodical, everything gets done and is always done well

Life looks like a lightweight standard with the markings of an Ascalabote skull on their face and no visible fuzz, their eyes appear to reflect the night sky. They always seem bored or disappointed as if what is going on isn't as interesting as they hopped. Their personality is quick witted and doesn't away think things through and while they can be kind and gentle they can just as easily be cruel and unforgiving.

Myths, legends, and stories
Ascalabotes have a rich oral story tradition with recently the stories they told beginning to get written down.
Here are some of the stories;

Lues are bad luck
Having a lues pup is rare but because it is genetic couples are likely to have more if their first litter has one. Pups born with lues are small and have a weak immune system, they often do not survive more then a month but those that do face a life full of struggle and hardship, many are also infertile.
It was believed that the pup was a curse on the mother and must be killed if the mother wanted to have a healthy litter again. When the clans started the act of killing pups was frowned on so more often a lues pup would be left outside of the clan's boundaries for predators or the elements to deal with. This act has also since died out over time with the opening of the Amissa, unfortunately lues pups are still often abandoned but at least they still are allowed the chance to survive.
Ascalabotes outside the clan still often believed the myth that lues is a curse and so may still abandon their lues pups.

Ghosts
If the bones of an Ascalabote is not covered in Moshkh and put to rest properly then it is believed they can return to the living as ghosts. Most ghosts are seen in the fog that accompanies the Dark season but they have been reported all year round and can be solid figures or transparent outlines.
There are many storied involving ghosts, most are told to pups to keep them in the eaily at night.
Since many that died in the Great Devastation were not properly laid to rest and it's unknown if Moshkh covered their bodies, the number of ghosts seen recently has increased, most are those who had fallen in the battle with the impiis.

Stick creatures
This legend is of thin pink creatures that walk on two stick legs. They are as tall as a heavyweight and grab things with their stick arms. They are described as scale and fur less with large green or blue eyes. They can speak the same language as Ascalabotes and should be avoided due to their high pitched vocalizations. It’s believed this is about humans, though it is not clear if there were ever humans on Senluna or if stories were brought back from Earth.
Glowing eyed beasts
Small creatures with large reflective eyes. They have never been seen in the day time and no one knows what color they are but their eyes have been described in all colors. These creatures are believed to be myths and tricks of the light, and no story has portrayed them as a danger though many pups have been scared from the flash of color in the night.
Gulata
The story of a fierce Unguli who killed a young pup when she wandered away from her family. Another common scare story for disobedient pups. It’s believed this story is an over exhaustion of Quiak’s own experiences with a fierce Unguli who killed his daughter.
